Dr. Sam Alkhoury

Dr. Alkhoury was first introduced to the field of orthodontics when his 17-year-old sister got braces. As she progressed through her treatment plan, he saw that more than her smile changed; her personality changed too! She became more talkative, outgoing, and confident. Watching the life of someone he loved change for the better inspired him to become an orthodontist so he could provide others with that same incredible transformation.

When it came time to attend dental school, Dr. Alkhoury chose Boston University. He graduated with honors with his dental degree and then immediately completed a residency in Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University. Now, he has more than 25 years of experience in the field, and he continues to prioritize continuing education and advanced training. In fact, he is currently an active member of several professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Dental Association, the American Academy of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. His commitment to his craft and his patients in and around the Boston Road area all ties back to when he was a kid; he genuinely wants to change people’s lives for the better by providing them with the happy, confident, and healthy smiles they deserve.

When Dr. Alkhoury isn’t at our office or pursuing continuing education, he enjoys being with his family, cheering on the Red Sox, and traveling.
